Fausto Araños
My name is Fausto, also known in the art community as Araños. I am an Italian tattoo artist, currently based in Dublin, where I work full-time as a professional tattooer at “The Ink Factory”
My artistic background goes far beyond tattooing. I’ve been immersed in art for as long as I can remember…I attended art school and have been involved in graffiti and street art since the early ’90s. That early experience with large-scale wall art and visual storytelling has strongly shaped my approach to tattooing, especially in terms of composition, flow, and visual impact.
My work is primarily focused on Neotraditional tattooing, with a strong emphasis on bold linework, solid structure, and vibrant, long-lasting designs. I’ve always been drawn to animals and human figures, but nature in all its forms remains one of my strongest and most constant sources of inspiration.
Alongside this, since I move to Ireland I have developed a deep interest in ancient cultures and symbolism. Over the years, I’ve spent a significant amount of time studying Celtic art and ornamentation, which has become an important part of my artistic identity.
I’m particularly fascinated by how Celtic visual language connects nature, meanings, and storytelling elements I often try to integrate into my tattoo work in a contemporary way.
For me, every tattoo should carry both strong visual impact and meaningful cultural or personal significance. I always aim to create custom pieces that respect the body’s flow while maintaining high professional and artistic standards, ensuring the best possible experience for each client.
